Mount Kearsarge New Hampshire

Today we hiked Mount Kearsarge.  It was steep up but it only took us 45 minutes.  It was cooler and very windy at the top!! John was glad he wore his hat!

Squam Mountain

Mount Morgan and Mount Percival trails

Today we went back to Squam Mountain and it was open! It was a great hike.  We hiked up the Morgan Trail and then over to Mount Percival and down. On the way to Mount Percival we went off trail for a bit and me, Ellen and Amelia started to panic a bit, but we found our way back to the trail.  It was fun!

Mount Israel

Today we set out to hike Squam Mountain but it was closed when we got there!  We were going to hike it anyways but a woman working there asked us not to because it is mud season and the mountain is privately owned.  She suggested we hike Cotton Hill down the road but Billy would have not part of it!  We found Mount Israel in the book and on the map so we drove there and had a great hike. 

Jeannie, Becky, Ellen and Sarah went into the house next to the parking lot to use the bathroom.  We soon heard an outburst and laughing.  They were in the caretakers house! Using his bathroom!! It was very funny.  Thankfully he was a nice young man and he was not mad.

Mount Major

Billy and I were in Wolfeboro our 20th year anniversary.  We met the group on Sunday at Mount Major.  Catherine came! It was fun.

Pawtuckaway State Park
