The Caves and Norman Island

Yesterday we sailed back to Norman Island. First, we moored at the caves and snorkeled and paddle boarded. You could swim right into the caves and snorkel. It was really neat. Jodi and Becky got stung by a jellyfish.  At night we saw the most beautiful sunset and then we went out to dinner. It was a great last night! Today we returned the boat. It was another successful trip!

Little Jost Van Dyke

Yesterday we saw a beautiful sunrise. Then we boated to Jost Van Dyke but we couldn’t get a mooring ball so we boated to Little Harbour but there were no other boats moored there and it was desolate. So we left and luckily found a mooring at Little Jost Van Dyke because it was now late in the day. We swam and went to a tiny beach bar now reopened. 

Sunrise at Marina Cay

Marina Cay and Scrub Island

Yesterday we boated to Marina Cay and got a mooring ball. We dinghied to Scrub Island which has a gorgeous resort that is reopened. We got appetizers and drinks and then cooked dinner on the boat. 

Cooper Island and The Indians

Yesterday we boated to the Indians and snorkeled at the coral reef around the beautiful rock formations. Then we sailed to Cooper Island.  Nothing is open yet on Cooper Island but we swam, snorkeled and dinghied in to the beach.  

Norman Island Hike

Yesterday morning we did a very short gorgeous hike on Norman Island. Then we snorkeled and sailed  to Cooper Island.  The weather has been great!

Norman Island

Last night we moored the boat at Norman Island. We got a great mooring spot close to the beach.  We swam and at night dinghied to the restaurant for dinner. After dinner we hung out on the boat and laughed so much about the day. We are so lucky to have such an amazing friend group. 

Sailing British Virgin Islands

Last night we slept on the boat in Tortola. Today we got a boat briefing, provisioned the boat and then we sailed to Norman Island. It was a beautiful day sailing and the crew all did so great! Captain Bill did awesome getting us off the dock!  A great first day.
